The Military Module

The Military Module

Perhaps the most exciting module in eRep and certainly where the players spend more of their dollars/euros, the Military Module is based on fighting in battles for your eCountry or for its allies.
NOTE: when you are in Division 1 you are NOT recommended to fight. (I´ll explain Divisions further in this article).

How to fight?

It's quite easy! First you need to have energy. There are four different ways to recover energy:
-you wait 6 minutes to recover 10 energy;
-you eat a Energy Bar and recover 100 energy;
-you spend 0.5 Gold to recover 10 heath (Not recommended);
-you Level UP.

After you recover energy you choose the battle you want to fight in by pressing the «Wars» button and then pressing the red/green button that says, well... «Fight»
You then go to the Battlefield and, when you are ready, you press the big red button that says «Fight».

Fighting: Rewards and Consequences

When you fight you automatically lose some energy. The amount of energy you lose differs depending on your strength, military rank, the weapon you use and the opponents energy, strength and weapon. During the earlier levels, just to kill one opponent you tend to lose too much energy, therefore you are not recommended to fight in the First Division.

By fighting you also recieve some XP (Experience Points). The amount of XP you gain by fighting differs dependeing on your weapon. This is yet another reason for you not to fight in the earlier levels. It's your own best interest to stay in the First Division as long as you can in orther to gain more strenth before moving up to the Second Divivision.

You also make damage/influence for you eCountry or for the side you are fighting for. 10% of the damage is converted into Rank Points. These Ranks Points are what allow you to level up your military rank.
So, for instance, if you make 100 damage a.k.a. Influence you will also gain 10 Rank Points. Every time you level up your rank you recieve 1 Energy Bar and a permanent 5% damage bonus.

Arm Yourself!

While fighting you can use different weapons from eight different Qualities:

-Q0: fighting unarmed (not recommended)
-Q1: 20% more Firepower
-Q2: 40% more Firepower
-Q3: 60% more Firepower
-Q4: 80% more Firepower
-Q5: 100% more Firepower
-Q6: 120% more Firepower
-Q7: 200% more Firepower

The higher the Quality of the weapon, the less XP you will gain, so if you need to fight during the earlier Divisions always use Q5 and higher.

You can buy weapons at the marketplace. Obviously, the higher the Quality, higher the price.

Special Weapons

You can fight with regular weapons or, if you have them, Special Weapons. These weapons can't be bought.

Bazooka: the bazooka kills your opponent with only one Hit (1 Hit = -10 Energy) and gives you 10 000 damage and, therefore, 1 000 Rank Points. You can only use it three times so use it carefully! You can get a Bazooka by getting all the 5 bazooka parts. They are randomly given during battles. You will always receive all the 5 parts when you complete your Military Unit's Daily Order.
NOTE: if you have a Bazooka Booster 1 Hit = 30 000 damage  = 3 000 Rank Points. To assemble the 5 Bazooka parts you need to have (at least) 150 strength.

Rockets: to build rockets you need to spend 10 Gold (5.6 when in promo) to build a Rocket Factory.
Then you need to buy 10 weapons of each Quality from Q1 to Q6. Rockets only give you damage and, like weapons, there are different qualities:
-Q1: 50 000 damage per rocket;
-Q2: 250 000 damage per rocket;
-Q3: 500 000 damage per rocket;
-Q4: 1 750 000 damage per rocket;
-Q5: 2 500 000 damage per rocket.

You can only build two rockets per day and storage one at a time. With Q4 and Q5 Rocket Factories you only build one rocket and one 5 hours 50% Damage Booster. You can only use each rocket one time.

Damage Booster: first of all, do not confuse Damage Booster with Bazooka Booster. A Damage Booster gives you a temporary damage bonus. So, for instance: if you normaly would make 100 influence, with a 5 hours 50% Damage Booster, for 5 hours you would make 150 damage.

AMS Missile: the AMS Missile is a Weapon of Mass Destruction that can be acquired after completing certain missions and after wining a Battle Hero Medal during promo.

The amount of damage the AMS can do depends on your Division:
-Div 1: 75 000 damage;
-Div 2: 375 000 damage;
-Div 3: 750 000 damage;
-Div 4: 1 500 000 damage.

Nuclear Bomb: the nuclear bomb can be acquired under the same conditions has the AMS Missile. The differences are that, no matter your Division the Nuclear Bomb will always make 5 000 000 damage.

Battle Mechanics: Winning and Losing

By the end of a battle, there has to be a winner... and a loser. But how are battles won and lost in eRep?
Quite simply, really.

During the battle, both sides make a certain amount of damage. The percentage of damage each side produced, in relation to the total amount of damage produced by both sides, dictates who dominates the Domination Bar. So, if your side has produced 95 damage and the other side produced 5, your side dominates 95% of the Bar. Since during the battle, damage is being produced constantly, tha Bar is updated every minute or so.

For every minute a side controls the Bar they win Domination Points. The amount of points they win per minute of domination differs according to how long the battle has been going:
-0-30 minutes into the battle, 10 points every minute;
-31-60 minutes into the battle, 20 points every minute;
-61-90 minutes into the battle; 30 points every minute;
-91-120 minutes into the battle, 60 points every minute.

But just because you won the battle, doesn't mean you'll win the Campaign. And this is where the Divisions appear:
-Division 1: level 1 to 24: 1 point per battle won;
-Division 2: level 25 to 29: 2 points per battle won;
-Division 3: level 30 to 36: 3 points per battle won;
-Division 4: level 37 and higher: 5 points per battle won.

For a side to win a battle, it has to win 1800 Domination Points.
NOTE: every battle lasts between 1h 30 min to 2h. If after 2 hours neither side reached 1800 points the defender will win the battle.

Your side has to win 83 of these points to win the Campaign.

Military Units

In eRep you can join MU's (Military Units). MU's are groups of soldiers. The MU's is commanded by, well... a Commander. It also has a Second Commander.

MU's are organized not by Divisions but by Regiments. You can be the Captain of your regiment if you win the elections.

Many times, to be in a MU you have to follow certain orders set by the Commander, like working for a certain player. (I'll explain the economy later).

Daily order (DO): Every day, according to the MU's priorities, a Daily Order is set. The Daily Order consists on killing 25 opponents in a certain battle Has a reward, received after completing the DO, you'll receive 1 Energy Bar and and 1 of each 5 Bazooka parts.
